Sol 013

We've had a quiet sol. Saying it out loud sounds almost strange. I spent a long while in front of the panel before dinner, watching the readings for no particular reason, just letting the numbers sit there. All green. All within range. There's something about a sol like this that I can't decide whether to be grateful for or uneasy about. The others were nearby, voices in the background, that low hum I've come to recognize as meaning we're all right. Then I went out to walk the perimeter. The ground crunches the same as always. The dome lights, seen from outside, look small.
