Sol 003
La manga del sector este volvió a hacer lo mismo de antes de ayer. El mismo punto, la misma fuga pequeña, apenas un siseo que noté más por costumbre que por ruido. Ya le di otra vuelta a la cinta, apretando bien por debajo del empalme, y ahora sujeta, pero ya sé que no va a aguantar indefinidamente. Lo llevo mirando desde el primer sol y todavía no sé si el problema está en la unión o más arriba, en el ramal. Mañana le meto la mano despacio, a ver. El invernadero olía bien esta tarde, aunque no sé si eso dice algo o no dice nada.
The east sector hose did the same thing as the day before yesterday. Same spot, same small leak — barely a hiss, something I noticed more from habit than from sound. I wrapped another layer of tape underneath the joint, pressed it tight, and it's holding now, but I know it won't hold forever. I've been watching it since the first sol and I still can't tell if the problem is at the joint or further up, in the branch line. Tomorrow I'll get my hands into it slowly, see. The greenhouse smelled good this afternoon, though I don't know if that means anything or nothing.
