He acabado los crucigramas. El último cuadernillo, la última casilla, un número de cinco letras que era «aguja» y que me ha costado más de lo que debería. He dejado el cuadernillo sobre la mesa y he estado mirándolo un momento antes de cogerlo para tirarlo. No lo he tirado. Está ahí. Nadie aquí va a traerme otro. Tendría que pedirlo al siguiente envío y el siguiente envío no es cosa de la semana que viene. Las manos quietas sin saber qué hacer con ellas es algo que, clínicamente, no tiene nombre, pero tiene un peso bastante concreto esta noche.

I've finished the crosswords. The last booklet, the last square, a five-letter word for «needle» that took me longer than it should have. I left it on the table and stood there looking at it before picking it up to throw it away. I didn't throw it away. It's still there. Nobody here is going to bring me another one. I'd have to request it in the next shipment and the next shipment isn't a matter of next week. Hands that don't know what to do with themselves — clinically, there's no name for that, but it has a fairly specific weight tonight.
